Our Current Ministry Efforts

Thank you for staying with us so far. If you have read our biography page then you know that we are independent Baptist church planting missionaries here in Panama. The Lord is currently allowing us work in two churches.
The first church located on the Western end of Panama City in an area known as Veracruz. It is the first church that Cricket and I began as a Bible study in 1989. The Lord has blessed over the years. The road has been difficult as we have had to wait on the Lord for His timing in the development of national leadership. We are hopeful that the work will be fully in the hands of national leadership within a year.
The second work is in the San Miguelito area in a smaller subdivision known as Suntracs. Many of the families that live there are employed in some type of construction work. The largest construction union in Panama is called Suntracs, hence the name for the subdivision. This work was begun by another missionary and we are in the process of helping it mature and reach a point that a national pastor can be established. This is a very different type of area from Veracruz.
In order to train men and women for the ministry, veteran missionary Jim Childress established our Bible institute. Several years ago Jim felt it was time to step down and yours truly was drafted to head it up. This is an awesome responsibility with a focus toward the future of the Gospel in Panama and abroad as well.
As time goes on, more will be added, but for the time being we trust this will give you a birds-eye view of what the Lord is doing here by His grace in Panama.
